I am still interested in doing this as well. Harry and I were talking about getting together on a Monday evening. Would that work for anyone else?

I would love to join. I've got nothing to build yet (waiting for Anovos), but I'd like to learn and get to know people.

I have Mondays off, so that actually works great.

Ok, well maybe we should just pick a date and do this thing! I have a work station big enough for 4 people, a dremmel, heat gun, rivet gun, industrial scissors, extra foam if people need some, industrial strength glue, everything we should need to complete a kit. Harry, do you want to pick a date?

Well, how soon do you want to try to make something happen?

I think I could swing October 19 or November 2.

Get a short list of names that won't overwhelm Wes's space and come up with a day that works for most.

October 19th works great! What should I bring, besides my kit?

Either day works for me, so whatever works best for the most people is fine. If you have a rotary tool, bring it. Having two of those would probably be handy for an armor party. That has been my primary tool during my build. Just so everyone knows, I live in Hillsboro by the airport, so plan accordingly. :) I have never done an armor party before. Is it traditional to provide pizza and soda? :)

Getting from Vancouver to Hillsboro on a weeknight is always kind of a hassle. I probably would not be able to get across town until about 6:30 or so.

I think the dinner plan depends on what you want to get done. If you want to really focus on getting kits together for a few hours, then I would encourage people to eat before coming over. You could just make it a BYOB event.

I am dedicated to completing this project, so if food will be a distraction, then I say we don't do it. I will have Clif bars available, if people need to munch during the build, along with plenty of bottled water. Harry, I am a night owl, so if leaving later in the evening helps you avoid some traffic, I am fine with that. Whatever works for everyone else, I am good with. :)

It looks like my mother-in-law is going to be coming over for a visit, and will be here on the 19th. Harry, you had mentioned that you were also available on November 2nd. Will that date work for other members?

Sure, Wes. I think the 2nd would be fine for me. I'm just coming to do my best to help.

November 2nd works, but I had been hoping to get something finished before Halloween. I may have to move forward on my own.

I'm going to start on my bucket next week, so hopefully it'll be finished by November 2nd so I can focus on the armor. Excited :)

Do you guys have room for another? If not, I understand.

I've met Harry and I'd love to meet the rest of you guys, if we haven't met already.  I've spotted at several events in the last 6 months.

I got an Anovos on order and I'm eager to learn everything I can about armor building.

Yes, there will be room! As far as I know, we have three builders that will be doing this thing. I have room for 4, and probably another two or three observers. :)
