My wife and I had a great time today.  Even though she didn’t say a lot, my wife has been non-stop looking up unitards for a Bastila costume that I am now required to make her and will not stop going on about it.  Apparently, my budget depends on her getting the Bastila since there are almost none (or is it none at all) who have done it yet.

I’ve been scouring the Officer Detachment site and have found some things which are helping me to lower the cost of my Uniform (as was suggested), but that is beside the point.

Your armors were amazing, your members a joy to be around, and the experience is one of the best I have had in most group gatherings… and I’m not even a member of the group!  Yet!  It is the same kind of feel of why my wife and I used to go to Renaissance Faires… but with fellow Star Wars Geeks (pardon the term)!

Thank you for a great few hours and I look forward to seeing you all again.  Hopefully next time, it will be in uniform!

Hey Jason... if you need any other assistance with your officer's costume, give me a shout. I would be happy to provide any and all assistance that I can for you!
Then again, you could give a shout out to Ara or Nick1, too.... but their busy (yeah, that's it. their busy!  :P) and I am not. I'm not? (oh great, the 48 hours of Bill is talking to himself!)
The offer is out there. Should you need any help, just shout!

Ya know... NOW that I have the time to think a bit... it would have been TOO COOL to have had some photos of a Tie Pilot standing around and posing in front of all those aircraft... too bad Jim's brother didn't make it to this event!!

Well, Tavrikgannon, you asked for it...

Give me a few minutes to compile what I have and I will be posting it lower down on the threads.

Don't say I didn't warn you...

That's ok, Jason..... I posted a rather lengthy response!

If I had the weekend off (and I wasn't having armor issues) I would have totally been there as PILOT! You're right, Tony, it really would have been too cool to have pics of the Imperial Pilot doing his thing at an Air Museum.

Yeah, as fate would have it, I am in need of a new one, too.  And I need to fix my armor. One of the straps came unbolted, so it is in pieces now...

Thanks to everyone for coming out for this event.  While there wasn't a huge turnout for the Halloween portion of the air museum, things were still a hit and I believe we had a huge blast!  It was a lot of fun and a gorgeous place.  In the future, I hope that we can help to bring in more folks for them and have a bigger event.

Good times guys =) Troop went well, those little Jedi were havin a blast! Good thing my armor holds up against balloon Sabers. Not a huge turn out like Eugene, but there was a constant flow of cars comin in and out.

Thnx so much Allan for the copy of the Register-Guard!
