Hello!
I've been interested in joining the 501st and/or the Rebel Legion for a long time. I talked to some members at RCCC (and actually attended the Wampa Ball in San Diego this year), and have been really impressed with how open and welcoming everyone is.
Eventually, I'd love to get a full set of armor, but will probably start with something simpler. Mark, who I spoke with at RCCC, recommended TIE Pilot to start, which would be awesome. I would also go for Imperial Officer. On the Rebel side, I'm interested in Rebel Fleet Trooper, Pilot, or Jedi. A Mando would be cool, too. I started working on one of those years ago, but didn't ever get it finished. I don't have a lot of money at the moment, so simpler would be better to start. I don't think I've got the face (or hair) to be any of the face characters.
Oh, I live in Corvallis, but also spend time in Eugene and have family up toward Portland.
