Hey there everyone, just coming by to say Hi and to get to know you folks.
My name is Skip, I met some of the people from the 501st and the Rebel Legion at Iguana comics in Grants Pass today. Talked to Dave and he told me that I should sign up, so here I am
I've always been a fan of the standard Stormtroopers, so I think that for a costume that I'd like to get a set of armor made up for one of those. I've looked around at different sites about vacuum forming plastics and stuff..looks pretty intense.
Also for the last month or so I've been toying with the idea of making a custom lightsaber out of aluminum and plastic (I'm a machinist) kind of like the ones they've got on different websites.
Anyway, glad to be here and glad to have met the folks down at Iguana, seeing the Trooper armor up close just makes me want to make a set even more!
