This is one of the biggest troops we do all year. If you are thinking of wanting to get more involved or meeting some of our members this is a great opportunity.
WHAT: Starlight Parade
WHERE: Meet in the park blocks at the corner of Park and Couch. This is where we will hang out leading up to the event.
DATE: Saturday, May 30
TIMES: Streets close early, so we suggest you arrive before 5:00 p.m. or maybe even 4:00 p.m. We'll set up shop in the Park blocks to hang out until it's time to get suited up. The parade does not begin until it's dark out (scheduled start is 8:30). We'll get in costume well ahead of when we start marching, so expect a good chunk of time standing around in costume before we start marching. It will be a long, fun evening!
CAUSE: Group PR, for fun!
PARKING: Parking in the pay lot costs about $5. We normally park in the lot at the NW corner of Couch and Broadway. See pictures below. Other lots/garages may also be available.

OTHER DETAILS
All parade participants must be at least 12 years old.
The parade route is about 2.25 miles long. Pace is a relatively fast walk.
Water will be available before and after the parade, but we should try to limit drinking water while on the parade route.
Food is not readily available near our staging area. Bring food with you and be sure to eat it so you have energy to complete the parade route.
