We have made some progress on a Padme outfit for Amara. We have shirt, pants, boots, shinguards, belt, and blaster. If we get the arm rings done, then it might all come together.

Who says you need kids for a costume? I'm hoping to wear my Jedi costume when giving out candy to trick-or-treaters. :P

I was thinking the same thing with my Fett. I am in the process of making a generation 1 Optimus for my little one and Masterchief for my other. Making them out of eva foam is easy and light for the kids.........

It's been a few years since my kids have been into Star Wars costumes, but we sure had some fun when they did.  Halloween was a favorite time.  Here's a couple costumes we had

My son is going as an Enderman from the very popular game Minecraft:



Simple enough - he wears all black, and then we got him this licensed Minecraft Enderman head:



However, I looked at this and thought:  "I can make those eyes glow like they do in the game".

So, I did this:
