Some help please
« on: March 11, 2013, 07:34:43 AM »
Hi all,

I was wondering if the forum could help me. I am working on a project Codenamed: 65. One of the elements of this project is that I need a recording (in .wav or .mp3 format) of the execution of Order 66, in Episode 3.  What I am looking for is the scene where Palpatine, and Commander Cody, are talking:

Quote
Palpatine: Commander Cody, the time has come. Execute Order 66.
Cody: Yes, my lord. [A few seconds later] Blast him!

I would do this myself, but I don't have a copy of Episode 3 *I drop my head in shame.*  :embarassed: :embarassed: and the Utube videos, I found, don't work well with my cell phone. *My cell has the option of recording voice*

Thank you you all for your help,

There are sites that have most of the dialog and sounds from the six movies in wmv and mp3.  You just have to do a little searching.  I got the kids jawa sounds and some droid sounds that way. My links were bookmarked on an older computer or I would give it to you. All I did was just google searches.

Hi all,

I was wondering if there were any bata readers, see quote below, in the forum? I ask because I am developing a Fan fiction, a "day in the life" of a SW character, and I need some help.

A beta reader (or betareader, or beta) is a person who reads a work of fiction with a critical eye, with the aim of improving grammar, spelling, characterization, and general style of a story prior to its release to the general public.

Oh, by the way, for those of you who own an Ultrasaber w/ sound; Project: 65 (or Order 66 sound font as it is known) can be found here (<=Link).

Thank you.

Here, see attached, is what I have so far. The area that has ++++, in the story, is an area that I am having trouble in.

Thank you for any help,

Interesting stuff. Nicely done!

If you're ever in need of more voices in the future you should check out the Voice Acting Alliance, there are lots of skilled voice actors and actresses over there that would be happy to lend a hand (or voice), and for free. I'm a member over there myself, and have set up my own little pseudo recording studio at home. :P
