Yes!! I have not missed one VH show since I was a kid, I got to see them in California and portland on the last tour with Sammy. I got back stage in 1995 and got my Eddie Van Halen rollingstone magazine signed, and yes I got pics to back my story up! LOL.

I hate to say this, but having been to over a 100 concerts (yes really),
Van Halen is one of the worst, only beaten by one other band, I have ever seen.
Reason I say this is because their music was pre-recorded and the concert was
obviously fake. One most memorable moment is when it was time to play the
Song "Pound Cake." When the music started Eddie was no where near his guitar.
It was stood up against the drum stand, and he was all the way across the stage.
He ran to pick it up and the song was already past the intro when he finally had it
in his hands.

Is a Ka no Kata, with a Zenpo Gari, from the Hoko No Kami position an acceptable defense against a zombie attack?

WOW Tony, that really stinks. They were one of my top bands, until they shafted Sammy and Michael. Brilliant guitar player, and I still love their music, but I seriously DISLIKE the brothers :P..............Ol Tony

LOL, sure. Yeah Ol' Tony I wish they had Mike with them still then it would be a true reunion, but I also wish Lucas never put all his CGI crap into Indiana Jones 4 but he did it anyway ha ha.

Too bad their "new" album is full of songs they wrote years ago.  It will interesting to see how they pull it off, not a Van Halen concert without the Jack Daniels bass solo!

BTW, Chickenfoot just put out another great album.

Interesting...Living in LA most of my life, I have been to my fair share of concerts. I absolutely LOVE Van Halen, but had a similar experience as David. 5150 tour. The crowd was kinda 'mellow'. When everyone is sitting down, you know...First time I ever left my seat and went looking for a shirt to buy right in the middle of it. I think it was mostly that they went into these long and drawn out solos rather than just banging out the hits. When they played it was great, but the solos every 2 songs drained it. Felt like they were not getting paid well or something...and that was in the LA Forum. Maybe the last leg of the tour...i dunno.

Still like them...Racked it up to not having Diamond Dave there.

Great Picture.

All I got to say is HOW DARE THEY HAVE SOME PRE RECORDED BACK UP TRACKS!! Cuz we all know that in this day and age every artist plays live and none of them lip sync hahaha wink wink. VH ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay Frosty.
