I've spoken to a couple of you about this, but I've been so out of the loop lately that I'll take no offense if you can't remember who I am.
The last few months have been very difficult for me and my family and we've decided that a major move is the best course of action for us. I'm moving to California now and I wish that there'd been time for me to troop one last time with you all, but preparing for the move and responsibilities at work prevented me from doing so.
You all have been so incredibly welcoming to me. You let me troop with you long before I was ever approved as a member and I look back on those few events as the highlights of my time here in Oregon. Starlight wad a treat, but I think my favorite one of all was the Doernbecher troop where I got to sit back and watch you all bring smiles into that hospital from behind a camera. My only regrets are that I didn't find you all sooner and that I couldn't attend as many events as I would have liked due to school and work. But I fully intend to transfer to Sunrider base and keep at it! And so I leave you with my Twi'lek protege, Kevlyn. Some of you have already met her and I'm sure she will rock many socks.
