Leaving Cloud City Garrison
« on: October 10, 2010, 07:48:53 AM »
It looks as though I may be leaving Cloud City Garrison around the end of the year :( However I am not leaving the 501st. I may have a job oppurtunity in Bellingham WA, at that time I will relocate my status to Garrison Titan. It's a hard decission we're having to make since it is such a long move from where we are. Ultimatly I have to do whats best for my family and this is a really good company to work for. I love Cloud City, I have alot of good trooping memories and met alot of nice people and it will be hard to leave. Some good news is I should finally have weekends off so I may be able to do more trooping then I do now and yes I would drive all the way down to troop with you guys  I will try and get at least one more good troop in before I leave. You guys are great and I will miss you, but I will definalty stay active on the boards to keep in touch. I will update when it nears closer to the time we may move, but right now it seems very likely this is what we will do. Take care.

James, It has been a pleasure Trooping with and hanging at various Events. You are going to be missed, but you will always have Cloud City as your hometown . Garrison Titan has great folks and you will be welcomed with open arms.  Remember Cloud City will always be your home. I look forward for future troops because I know we can't keep you away. :)

Best success in the new adventure.

You gotta do what's best for your family!  I applaud you!  It is too bad you're going WAY up there! ;)  Remember where you came from because we will never for you brother!  Take care and troop as much as you can with us before you leave!  :afro:

Just got back from Bellingham for my job interview and it is a go, I will be moving to Bellingham for my new job. I will miss Cloud City Garrison as this is where it all started for me. I'm hoping I can get on at least one more troop before I go. This maybe hard since I still work weekends, but I might be able to pull it off. My move date is currently the end of Feb. possibly end of Jan. I would like to thank everyone again for all the help, guidance, fun and memories! I also need to know what garrison is in that area, think it's Titan but not sure.

Good luck with the move, and yes you will want to join the Titan boards (something you can do now if you want). You will probably run into Feliscout from the BSN boards and Spat.

Well it would appear that the annual Seaside Troop 2010 was my last troop with CCG  :( We now have a move date and with the holidays it would make things even harder to try and fit a troop into the mix. I'm going to be transfering over to Titan Garrison shortly. Now that I will be a hop, skip and a jump from Seattle, with weekends off I'm going to make it my business to be at ECCC this year. Hopefully I will see some of you there! You guys are great and have lots of great memories. Since I will have weekends off I might even make it to Starlight for once, hopefully with my new sandy completed, either way I will try and make it to one or 2 troops during the year with you guys.

Good luck, James! It's been good trooping with you and I know it won't be the last time. You might still technically be closer than Ralph...

We started out as part of Titan anyway, so it's not a huge distance. I was just up in Seattle for a concert Monday, and did my earliest troops up there so I know it's possible. :)
