the stormtrooper armor looked awful. the helmets were bad. That is the 1000. Rubies deluxe that is not 501st approved. Funny concept for video.  But the TK armor suits and helmets ..I give 2 thumbs down. :?

I was wondering about Vader, if he had a voice box or something.  I wonder if these guys just rented the costumes from a local costume shop for the shoot.  The armor didn't seem to fit and the troopers didn't walk like those that have done much trooping.

I found this on Make Magazine's (Sp?) website (<-Link).  I thought it was funny (and peoples reaction to the "actors"), but thats it.

The armor isn't great of course, but I love this kind of stuff.

yeah me too. I love how the troopers entered the train like they mean business. Neckseals anyone? Seeing someone's neck always ruins the illusion.

Agreed - Note too the lack of blasters - I think that was a good idea when riding on the NYC subway!! You never know who's carrying and it doesn't take much to spark a confrontation (remember Bernhard Goetz - the subway vigilante?).
Leia was a good actress, looks like they're a theatre group.

they are an improv group, which is why I think they just rented the costumes.  In new york you can rent star wars costumes but they are "licensed" variety.

I agree we should do something like this on MAX. Have Leia enter at the Beaverton TC, Troopers enter at Sunset TC, Vader enter at the Washington park (zoo) stop. and all disband at goose hollow...

It would be hilarious.
