MISSION COMPLETE: BOWLING TROOP for SAMMY SETH OCT 18

This is not to be confused with the "SUPER HERO BOWLING" thread for the dog shelter on Oct 30th
 
    This is also at  Town and Country Bowling in Keizer. It is a pure fundraiser for Sammy Seth, a 14 yr old boy who is having a horrible time with a couple of diseases, (you can get MUCH more info on the links below). I would like to see us troop this event and have teams bid on their favorite character to bowl with them on their team. And/or pit the villains/heroes or Star wars/everyone else in costume against each other, and people can sponsor/support their favorite team. There will be raffles, prizes and giveaways with ALL proceeds going to Sammy. As usual Mardi will provide a huge green room, free bowling and a meal for all troopers. I was told this is not in conflict with any other event, and I really want to help this little guy. Im sure you will feel the same once you read the attached articles.

UPDATE!
  Just talked with Mardi at Town and Country Bowling. Any member of CCG/RL costuming for this event, (any costume, but it would be cool to have a buncha star wars guys), will get FREE bowling all day, (even out of costume later), a FREE meal, (really good grub), our own "green room" and cheap beverages .
  For donations we can bowl with a group and we will be taking pictures. Mardi is dealing with the photographer and printing (YAY). I will be providing swag and gift certificates to hand out and raffle off. When everyone has had their fill of bowling, we will meet at my house for poker/gaming, beverages and CLAM DIP! kids are welcome as always.

 GREAT Paul, me too! I would like Star Wars costumes for this one, since we will be taking donations for pictures. The other costume bowling event on the 30th there will be more variety. Now if you want to bowl in costume, then go ahead a wear something your more comfortable in, or can see better in. Or you can just wait til we change out to bowl. Its all up to you ........ ol tony
