We've made it down for this before as well, it's a good fun event and a great place to pick up costume supplies if you're going for a pirate look! I think we had to leave our swords in the car though, but can't remember if it was this one or another event...

You can have your sword with just as long as you leave them sheathed. I think there is a fine if they catch you with it out side of the sheath.  :(

Well I am definitely doing the Komen Walk with Rick and Eric, but I would love to go down and see the pirate thing on that Saturday...

I do have a shirt that is somewhat piratey. I am thinking that I need to go head on over to that pirate shop (over at Lloyd Center), that is if it is still there, and see what I can come up with.

Come to think of it... my "Corran Horn / CorSec" trousers might fit the bill for something that is quasi-piratey.

Foot Clan? You mean those wannbe Snake-Eyes look-alikes that run around, getting their posterior regions handed to them by karate-kicking, genetically mutated turtles?? What do they have to do with pirates???

I would love to crash this event in my soon-to-be-completed "League of Shadows" ninja uniform from Batman Begins.  I will be on vacation in Southern California during this event though.

Would LOVE to see a group of Foot Clan members though.  That would be awesome.   :D
