This should be a fun midnight event for people coming to pick up the game. Batman is always a fun costume to do at night as well, so I'm looking forward to debuting a custom modified suit inspired by the costume design in the game.
I took my first set of generic muscle armor, refinished it and primered, then drew the "seam lines" and "rivets" on there, but will need pin stripe them on by hand. For the picture, I enhanced the lines and filled in the chest emblem in Photoshop to get a better idea of what it will look like once I paint it. I think the gray needs to be darker, so I may airbrush some shadowing onto it if I have enough time.
Mostly, this is using parts I already have for my other bat suits, but I'm inspired to do some custom pieces from the game to really improve the Arkham Asylum look. For example, the glove armor and fins, belt and shin armor are quite a bit different. For this pic, I used my '89 gloves, Begins belt and '89 leather boot armor (not pictured.) I'm also planning to sculpt and cast a new neck piece to go with this cowl - in the game he has a HUGE neck and the front comes to a point rather than squared off like this one does.
