Bad Crossovers of the Seattle Kind
« on: April 12, 2009, 11:39:40 PM »
I wandered over to Sakura-Con... and though lacking in anime knowledge, I was prepared for the video game stuff and the overwhelming mass of cosplayers. In proper Cooter fashion, I'm going to try to chronicle some of my more noteworthy experiences.

I ended up fighting a lot because it's just what I do. It's a S.T.A.R.S. thing. Some chick from whocareswhere showed up and we battled. She complained because guns beat silly knives.

Anyway, she dead.

I was feeling kind of cocky by then and decided to fraternize with the enemy.

They seemed pretty put out by it. Go figure.

My efforts earned the attentions of Dr. Horrible himself and I squealed like a school girl on a field trip to the My Little Pony factory.

They never taught me how to pose for the camera in basic.

But the real disaster befell me when I encountered a wild Mewtwo. Having used my Master ball on a Zubat, I did the next best thing.

I got ma' guns.

But Mewtwo is psychic and immune to the RCPD type special attacks, so its Confusion attack was super effective. I don't remember much after that.

I woke up and my wallet was gone.

Nice work, up until you lost your wallet.
For unfortunate unforseen reasons I wasn't able to go.
I don't see any Jill Vs Akuma pics. What happened?

Is a Ka no Kata, with a Zenpo Gari, from the Hoko No Kami position an acceptable defense against a zombie attack?

Hey, you didn't have to stand in line for four hours to register at least.

There must have been at least ten Street Fighter cosplayers there, so Akuma had his hands full getting pictures with all of them. He looked a little stressed out and I figured I'd let them have their turn.

I think I saw you, d'oh! Would've said hi if I realized it was you!

Here's one of the pictures I have found of my TS so far (as I forgot to have someone take some with my camera, oops):

Also I found a pic (though a little blurry) of you just now: http://s583.photobucket.com/albums/ss274/Mystic_357/Sakura-con%202009/?action=view&current=DSC00779.jpg

THAT WAS YOU! XD Oh man, we should have taken some pics!

I JUST found that pic! Slowly but surely, I'm invading the internet. I've seen a few of you around too! Cosplay.com has a huge collection of the Sakuracon pics.

Yep that was me! :D

I hadn't made my way to the cosplay.com stuff until this morning. I've seen a few of me so far.

Going to have to take some pics this weekend for my 501st approval!
