Cobra Trooper for Wondercon Progress
« on: February 19, 2009, 12:24:21 PM »
So Wondercon looms closer, here's where I'm at with my Cobra Trooper

The decal I got for my bucket, was crazy hard to work with, and it came out a little crooked.

I'll be wearing a plain black shirt underneath and boots :P

I'm waiting on a duty belt an a few pieces of flair... such as my Cobra patches

I probably won't be taking my real guns to Wondercon lol

I just realized how bad the contrast is in the bottom pic... I look pregnant  I swear that is the pouches on my vest

[constructive criticism]That Cobra emblem is massive. If I can make you a smaller one, would you be interested?[/constructive criticism]

Other than that, you should be wearing long sleeves - it'll look cooler!

So that is what the Cobra Trooper looks like from the movie, huh? It reminds me alot of the Cobra Grenadier from the action figure series, way back in the day.

Looks awesome, Paul. I love it! I agree with Kyle, that Cobra emblem looks like logo envy and I think long sleeve would be the way to go. It fits more with the character persona, unless the movie depicts the Cobra Soldier that way. If that is the case, then disregard what I have to say, because it would appear I know nothing. I can't wait to see the movie!

Dude if you can make me a smaller one that would be awesome! When I got it in the mail.. I was like, frack this is way bigger than I thought... So big that the curvature of the helmet was hard to work with.. smaller one would be the bees knees.

I don't know about long sleeves though... how the heck aw I going to show of my tats in long sleeves :P

No idea what the movie trooper will look like, this is all guess work on my part. I'll test it out with long sleeves and post some pics.
