So the wife and I barely make it out of town on Monday due to the snow here in Oregon. We flew to Las Vegas for a romantic getaway for a quick little two night three day trip. On Wednesday, the day we are supposed to leave it starts snowing like crazy in Las Vegas. I walked out of the Luxor and could roll snowballs.
It was cool and sunny the day before and now it felt like the Portland I had just left. The whole airport shut down and all flights were canceled. I could not get a flight back until Friday. We had an excellent time though and actually enjoyed spending two extra nights. The weather cleared up and got sunny again so we had a blast! Four nights in a suite at the Venetian can really spoil a simple guy like myself. Any way, it is good to be back in town and to be able to hang out on the boards again. Cheers! Jason
