In an attempt to consolidate information and make for smoother communication, I have closed this discussion because the troops are set in stone now and the official planning of these troops has begun. If you need to view the official event announcements, please go here:

*Eugene Troop @ Valley River Center - Event Organizer: Quick2

*Portland Troop @ Lloyd Center - Event Organizer: Clonenolc

*Vancouver Troop @ Regal Cascade 16 - Event Organizer: greedo

More information will be added as it becomes available. Please do tell your family and friends and any Star Wars fans you know of that these screenings and troops ARE happening. The threads are locked, so if you are not on the roster and do not have access to the private section, please PM the event organizer or an Admin... thank you!  :D

hey all,

I just wanted to fill you guys in that don't have access to the members section.

I have been working on getting a theatre to troop the midnight showing for us to troop.

I have gone through all of the channels at the REGAL 16 in Vancouver ( 164th AVE and Mill Plain)  to set this up.  I am pleased to tell you that they are VERY excited to have us.  Only one thing holding us up...... They haven't gotten the official word yet of a midnight showing

Fear not though, the GM at the theatre is very sure that they will have one.  They always have them and this shouldn't be different.  I have aske him to tell me the second that he hears anything.

So until I get the 99.9% up to a full 100%, I won't put it down as an official event yet.  HOWEVER, we are planning things for this as we speak.  We want to make this a huge event.  We are thinking of starting around 6pm and have lots of fun stuff for the people waiting in line.

If you are interested, I will put you down in my ''un official'' roster.  Or, if you have ideas, suggestions, or anything to add....please speak.

Should we try to do another theatre here in Portland on the same night? It looks like Vancouver is pretty well covered. Not trying hijack the thread, just seeing if we can maximize this event, like we are doing with Toys R Us.

I'll be there. The 14th is one of the days of my finals, so I might be an hour, or so, late.
But I'll be there.

Chatted with my friend who works at the Lloyd Cinema 10.  The one outside of the mall, not in it.  She sounded pretty excited.  Trying to work out final details as to what all they would want us to do if anything.  I shall be emailing the powers that be here as well to figure things out on our end.  As to the actual movie itself.....................   pretty sweet!!!!!!!!!!!  I will be seeing it again!!!!!!!!!!!

There is another possible Troop here in Eugene Oregon Regal Cinema's 15 at Valley River Center. There is a Roster for Eugene in Private section with the Roster of Vancouver Washington Theater Troop.
