Main (501st) website question

I was wondering I noticed that the main Legion site has changed its web address.  What happened did the Legion lose the 501st.com address? Or is the move due to space, + or -, in Mega bytes.

Looks like they changed the domain but the original bumps you to the new one.

I never heard anything about it.  I guess if it was a big enough deal, then the CO's would know and they would have said something.
