I really do like that idea. Now it begs the question: would this a simulataneous troop, or would the separate troops be on different days to allow members to go to other venues (should they wish to)? Or am I just making this more complicated than it needs to be?

My vote would be simultaneous with perhaps arranged appearances for other showings if the theaters plan such things.  But the simultaneous would work well for the opening night.  I know it would draw most of the groups a little thin, but it would be economical when it comes to fuel prices.

This is just my opinion, though... I could be wrong.

Splitting up would be a good idea as long as you've got the numbers. Just depends on what's easier for everyone else. Maybe see if Kashyyyk Base wants in?
