there is almost always at least that much notice given, so you should be good on picking events you want to do ;)

2) Is there a size limit for the avatar, ABC x DEF, in this forum?  In the two that I belong to they have diffrent max. sizes that they allow.

I have three diffrent types of avatars,
1) The first is 96 x 96.
2) The second is 100 x 100.
3) The third is 141 x 117.

Which is OK to use in this forum.

Mine is 100x100.  Across most forums, that is the typical size for avatars.
