Thanks for noticing :)

I had a friend take that picture in my house and then it took 9 months to get it up on the site! Do you like my Kenner blaster?

really? I submitted pics and was rejected because they were not taken at a professional studio.

I sent some of mine in, that were professionally done, but they were rejected because it wasn't canon.  My Stealth had a pauldron as well as a Spec Ops patch.  No biggie Ill just have to wait till I am in front of a professional photographer again.

My picture was accepted because of the resolution and the lighting (and oh yes, my costume is canon). My friend has an umbrella flash + stand so he could deal with the flash reflection etc.....

WAIT A MINUTE!

You mean, on top of the nearly $3000 I spent on my Vader, I have to get a professional photoshoot too!

Okay...  whew...  Had me almost ready to throw myself in front of a moving speeder there for a sec.

As for the price... what do you expect, it's Vader.  If I wanted the absolute best, I'd probably pay over $5000 for it all.

$3000. We could almost buy our own ship for that! lol

Professional pictures do go a long way though. They can be used as the trading cards, 3x5 pics that we hand out for autographs at events like Light Vader's Saber, plus they can enhance the oneness you have with your costume in a great portfolio.

We should celebrate our members for getting featured in such a way as it guides us to achieve our own great potential. Exposure by them is exposure for the Garrison. It's nice to be recognized other than in our event pictures.

Rock on, Michael!

We can rent studio space very cheaply if we wanted to do a group shoot (and they'll provide the lighting).  I can take really nice portraits with my SLR, and I'd be totally willing to coordinate it on a Saturday or weeknight if there's enough interest.  We could do both 501st and RL on the same day.

Let me know.
