WHAT: Meadowlark Comic Con
WHERE: Rogue X: 901 Rossanley Dr Medford, OR 97501 in Medford
DATE: Saturday, July 27th and 28th
TIME: 10 am to 5 pm - Any time during the show hours
PARKING: Ample parking, free
CHANGING AND STORAGE: For the changing area, we can either a) create changing rooms with pipe and drape or b) provide extra space for your covered canopies if you have any (sometimes groups bring their own). We do have a volunteer/ops room where things can be stored but it won't be under lock and key.
BLASTER POLICY: Blasters and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: Family-friendly pop culture and comic convention
ANYTHING ELSE:
We have Spencer Wilding aka Darth Vader in Rogue One, and Stephen Costantino, Gamorrean Guard in the Return of the Jedi, appearing at the event.
Since it is a two-day event, it is entirely up to you and your members' availability. We'd be happy to see you in any capacity.

Unfortunately with what is currently happening with my grandma, I won't be able to make it to this event.

Emily, are you able to make it to the event? I will let them know what the preference is for changing.

I've just now been able to confirm I don't have other plans. So yes! I will be there. I'm planning to go on Saturday. I think I'm going to shoot to be there in the neighborhood of 11 AM, and will stay as long as my stamina will let me, I'm thinking.

Josh may or may not tag along for support (TBD)

Took a selfie I should have checked for quality before I called it good. Nice closed eyes on my one shot I took of just myself to show I was here. ???? But will upload anyway... Will also upload a selfie I took with a couple High Republic cosplayers I met there. They were kind enough to stop me and ask for a pic. Ended up just roaming the floor for most of the few hours I stayed, and watched a panel for some of the time as well. Think I was there about 3 hours, all told. Not sure I'd do this event solo again... it felt a bit... odd? Like, it was okay, but... Not very troop-like, I guess? Not sure how to describe it better...
