WHAT: Star Wars Wedding in Harrisburg
WHERE: Diamond Hill Villa, 31414 Harris Drive in Harrisburg
DATE: Saturday, June 1st
TIME: in costume at 4pm
CAUSE: We aren’t asking for any gifts at our wedding, and instead are asking our guests to donate to charity instead. I will talk to my partner about making a cash donation in your name!
PARKING: I’m hoping there will be plenty of parking, it’s a fairly large venue out between Filbert fields
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have an area where people could change and leave belongings
COSTUME REQUESTS: Storm troopers, vader, boba fett, the mandalorian, yoda, Asoka, darth maul…anyone really. We love them all!
BLASTER POLICY: Blasters and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: A classy Star Wars wedding! I am Leia, fiancée is Han. We have always loved Star Wars and felt an affinity to these characters. We are encouraging our guests to wear costumes. There will be nods to Star Wars everywhere. It would be so fun to have y’all show up for some pictures and to hang for a bit! If we know how many might come before hand, we can even make sure to have enough tacos for y’all. Oh, and this is a kid-friendly event.
