CAUSE:
Friends of the Cottage Grove Carousel
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit partnered with the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce tourism committee and have restored and housed this historic carousel.  We are staffed by volunteers and rely on donations for our cause.  We offer free rides on the carousel during our open house and maintain this venue for the benefit of the citizens of Cottage Grove.


PARKING:
Free parking in the lot.  As you enter the center gate, follow the long fence and park to the left where staff parks.
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have two offices which are available for your volunteers.
COSTUME REQUESTS: We welcome any of your characters who can make it.
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: To benefit the citizens of Cottage Grove with a fun Star Wars visit.
ANYTHING ELSE:
We are currently working with the community to locate a new location to house this historic carousel, and have much support from businesses and citizens in this effort.  This will be one of two final open house events at this current location and feel your visit can help promote interest in our carousel as it is relocating.

Do we have a time?  Had to double check the date since I am attending a wedding the weekend before.  I was like do I play hookie to my best friend's wedding or go to a carousel.  Of course correct answer is attend the wedding as there will be more troops.

I'm in! I'm glad they're flexible on time, but I'd prefer to show up at the same time as others.
I'm going to try to do both carousel days, and I'll do Imp Officer one day and Resistance Pilot the other.

 I did not notice there was no time specified. How about 12-2PM? I'm committed to us all being there at the same time, so let's find a time good for all of us.

I'll try and swing it.  Might be a little later for me.  Since I get home typically around 2 am Friday/Saturday morning from work.  Then I saw its like an hour an 15 minute drive.  For some reason I thought this was near Portland so I'll let you guys know if I dont plan to make it due to that.  I dont really know good time estimates going South from Salem on I-5.  I know it takes me about 40 minutes to get to my folks in Lebannon.  So this may be like an hour and half drive.

Sorry for not chiming in earlier. I have rehearsals at 2pm across town, but I can go directly there. I’ll probably show up between 11 and noon and overlap with everyone starting at 1pm, before having to head out.

Sorry for the late reply.  I am behind schedule on a project.  So will not make this one. I should be good for the one in March though.  Will try and get Friday off to make it easier on myself too.
