Meet up would be “around” the entrance to Walmart off Olympic. be sure to contact Chadd for exact location in Springfield
DATE: Saturday, December 2nd

PARKING: this is a big parade the earlier you get there the better chances for parking
CHANGING AND STORAGE: this is a car change
PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITTED: yes
BLASTER POLICY: blsters and light sabers are ok
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: probably not a great idea
OTHER DETAILS: join the fun walk in the Christmas parade

For those that have not trooped this recently, here was the scoop from 2 years ago:

They would like us to be there around 10am’ish to figure out our exact spot in line (we just brought folding chairs and put the away before the start.) Last time we got there early enough they let us park in the Wilco parking lot (not Walmart or Jerry’s). Might be a good idea to coordinate having someone park at the end and ride to the start together so there’s a way back to your car after it’s over.

I will most likely NOT make it as I have to drop my son off at PDX that morning. But Dax and James K. Said they should be there and can be POC. But feel free to hit me up if you have any questions! And let mercs and any other group know to come along!

yes the route is being walked and I would say its rain or shine but thats up to the troopers that are there

Have them call me 541 228-1900 and we will meet at Wilco parking lot.

 As I think about this more, there was a ride back from the end of the parade to the beginning. I'm hoping that will be the case again this year.

Just a little more info for the troopers attending. We will be group #12. It is rain or shine. And I cannot guarantee a ride back this time since I won’t be in attendance. I’m sure the Oregons Riders Society will do it again this year if we ask. Just ask for Danita.
