WHAT: Christmas Storybook Land
WHERE: Linn County Expo Center in Albany, OR
DATE: Saturday, December 9th
TIME: Noon to 4:00 p.m. for in-costume time keep in mind shift changes at 2 for A and B
CAUSE: Christmas Storybook Land
Annual community Christmas event -- free to all, but supporting Fish of Albany
PARKING: There is ample free parking behind the building, and "backdoor" access to the staging area.
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have a separate, private area with tables for people to get ready. Restrooms are available close by.
COSTUME REQUESTS: Everyone is loved! However, people have noted that there wasn't a Chewbacca last year, and no Darth Vader for a few years. I know you can't guarantee attendance, but I wanted to make a note of it.
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: Our event is open for two weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have over 38,000 attendees during our run. Star Wars day has always been a huge day for us.
ANYTHING ELSE: Star Wars day produces our biggest attendance and food donations. We love you! Also...the donut vendor near the front door will give you a free warm & delicious donut. :D

the privacy curtains are going up. There will be about 10 picnic tables set up to get suited up, and store gear. Everyone will need to park in the back of the building...near the airstrip. There is a volunteer door to the left (as you're staring at the back of the building.) When you enter that door, you will be in the break room and the tables will be directly ahead. there will be a sign on or near that door. Help yourself to some coffee, tea or cocoa, or bring your own. Teresa says she will provide a snack, also. :D
