DATE: Saturday, December 2nd
TIME: In Costume: Any time during the event 7am-12pm
CAUSE: The event allows underprivileged & At-Risk children to receive gifts for Christmas while shopping with a police officer.
PARKING: Parking lot - free
CHANGING AND STORAGE: Car Change
COSTUME REQUESTS: Vader was more popular than Santa.
PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITTED: Yes, with permission, as some of the At-risk children cannot be photographed.
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: We had 33 schools in Clackamas County participate with 168 shoppers. Over 100 law enforcement personnel and community volunteers were on hand to shop with the children and wrap the gifts.  Donations from our Community and proceeds from the Officer Mulligan Golf Tournament fund the Shop with a Cop Program.

The event coordinator just walked into my office and asked if we had  Din Djarin coming? They would be most appreciative if Din and Grogu could make an appearance!

Also they mentioned maybe coming at 0730, so we aren't changing in the parking lot as kiddos start arriving. They are very excited for us to be there, especially since we were more popular than Santa last year A social media person with the benevolent association will be asking characters to participate in a few bits for their social media posts - shopping with kids, giving high fives, helping with wrapping, etc.

So there was a mix-up on times. The first kids are shopping at 7:30AM, so we will need to be dressed and ready to go somewhere around 7:00AM. If you can't make it there at that time, that's okay, we will see you when you can. I will be there 6:30AM just to be sure I can get dressed and ready.

For the moment, yes. I’m going to arrive early and see if Fred Meyer can find space for us. More than likely where families are wrapping presents. It does get chaotic in there, not a lot of privacy, but at least it’s indoors? Last option might be restrooms or possibly employee lounge.
