Decided to use some of this ample spare time to see if I can make this costume a bit more troopable. Anybody who has trooped with me while I'm wearing it is aware that it has about a 60 minute time frame and the heat takes a lot out of me. Since the undersuit is all foam, it doesn't breath and it gets really hot, sweaty, and heavy. So, I was brainstorming ways I could try to improve upon the costume.

So, using corset boning, I made a fur butt structure:

Ordered some better fur off of Amazon:

My main concern is that the corset boning, while holding it's shape, it is still rather weak when pressure is applied, so I installed a steel ring around the waist, so that the belt has something strong to sit on, and the fur butt doesn't collapse. And, here we go:

I lose a bit of the girth in the back, but overall, it fits pretty well and I think it looks pretty good. Will need to try it out at a troop sometime, but since there's no foam down there, the breeze is very nice! Stay safe, my friends!
