For people who might not be following the various Anovos builds on FISD...
Anovos might have mislabeled the shins, resulting in one having both inners and one having both outers. This might explain why one ends up closing well and one ends up with a 2-3 inch gap at the back.

Unfortunately I've already assembled mine and I used used a heat gun to overcome the closing issue. Overall I think they look fine and I would have never known.
