Greetings and salutations!
My name is Richard Valiton and I have recently moved to the Portland area. I am a lifelong fan of the Star Wars saga and quite a geek in general if I do say so myself. I was also part of the creative team behind the Star Wars fan film Volition, which can be found at volition film.com.

I recently had the opportunity to interact with an imperial officer, Commander Cody, 2 biker scouts and even Chewbacca at the Star Wars Uncut showing at the Hollywood theater. I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to interact with the 501st and the Rebel Legion. I am interested in helping out in anyway I can and would love to be a spotter at the very least. I can be found on Facebook of course and would love it if I could meet some of the fantastic Star Wars enthusiasts here in Portland.

Welcome to Portland!  We always love to have spotters!  On the forum page where you sent this email - about 3 slots down you will see Spotter Check in.  Once there you can add yourself to be on the notify list for spotters,etc =)

Welcome Richard! As many folks have mentioned, we always welcome Nerf Herders to help us out at events. Hopefully with the intention of officially joining someday.  To that end, you might want to check out this thread if you haven't already:
