A while ago a writer for Wired magazine emailed about an article he was writing on fan groups and how they do so much charity work. Here's the resulting article, I think it came out pretty good. I wish he has used the global 501st numbers to make us look more impressive, but for a local group of volunteers I think we do pretty darn well at raising money for charity. You should all be proud!
