MISSION COMPLETE: 01.13.12 - Portland Winterhawks Mascot Night

I have been sent a request, from my friend Patricio, the request was:

FYI,

Portland Winterhawks Hockey Team Mascot Night is coming up on Jan. 13th, 2012. ... I am sending out an FYI for all who would like to participate in this fun evening. Thanks to whomever supports this local team and this great event!

If this event is like last time first we will "parade", walk around, the Rose Quarter. Then, for those that want,  we will participate in a "game" with *cough*other*cough* mascots.

No, it does'nt. It just means I WANT to. BIG difference between the troops I want to go to and the ones I can actually make it to.  I would make one a week if I could........Ol Tony

Here is an update from the Winterhawks

Dear Mascot,
The Portland Winterhawks are pleased to have you join us for our 2012 mascot night and look forward to an enjoyable time! Below are the details for the night. Please read carefully.

Who: Portland Winterhawks vs. Seattle Thunderbirds.
When: Friday, January 13th, 2012. Please arrive no later than 5:30 PM, where a changing room will be made available to you. Enter the Rose Garden via the Loading Dock
Where: Rose Garden Arena
1 Center Court
Portland, OR. 97227

Parking: No free on-site parking is available, unfortunately.

Please do not bring extra people, performers only as space is limited.

Doors will be opening at 6:00 PM. Mascots will be on concourse to greet fans. A game of broomball will be played during the 1st intermission. However, skates are not required.

Again, the Winterhawks are excited to have you join us on this fun-filled night.

Send me any questions you may have and I will either address them or ask the Winterhawks and get back to you.

Ok, people we need to get it together. As you can see, below, Patricio needs names. I will give you till Monday at 9 am. After that I will email Paticio those that have signed up.

OK, this is it. I need the complete list of names of people that will be there so we can have their tickets ready. The spotters are good for this night and I told the Winterhawks they will be stuck like glue to us. Let them know to bring their cameras because this is a golden opportunity to get some pictures with other mascots. I plan on being there around 5pm so there is time to park, haul, get set up inside, and dress. Gates open at 6pm for the public and we are expected to be on the concourse to greet them. The only event I know of is broom ball at this point and no word on the morning promotion. I am taking that Friday off work to be available all day if needed. Updates as they come in so stay tuned.

This will be my first event in the new year! Hooray!
