Brand new here! Greetings!
« on: November 01, 2011, 12:05:45 PM »
Hi guys, my name is Trevor and I'm so excited to be a member! I want to make a nice TK costume. Only problem is that I'm a full time student, so I'm both broke and busy as hell. I will be slowly piecing together a few costumes. To avoid clogging the board with redundant nonsense, would anyone be willing to to chat with me via email, facebook, our even text?

Welcome Trevor, yah, we are all mostly broke---but we all find a way to bring some smiles to those who need them...including ourselves!

typically "other means" is the way most go. You don't see many go the pepakura route and get approved.

Welcome Trevor to Cloud City Garrison. We look forward to your progress and to become a member of The 501st Legion. I hope you and the rest of the new folks here will make it to the Portland Comic Book Show on November 13th at the Memorial Colliseum and say hello and introduce yourself. It is on Sunday.

Hey Trevor. I'm a full time student too (PCC {currently}). One of the best things you can do is go to events (troops) and "spot" (make sure stormtroopers don't trip over little kids/ get handled too much). I've been doing that for almost a year now and have JUST started a costume. It takes a while  :|
