This situation is exactly what we deal with on the Batman costuming forums...  and I personally have been ripped off by a few shady folks within the collecting/building hobby over the last few years, but never thought to contact a TV court show...  I'll have to try and catch a replay or find it online.  I'm interested to see how this all played out.

They had a contract that had an "expected complete date" of 3 months, which is what, I think if I understand Judge Brown's decision, lost the defendant the case. If delays for parts had been worked into the wording of the contract I don't think the defendant would have lost so badly.

the defendant didn't deliver his product so he had to pay, and the plaintiff ended up building his own after the fact

thanks.

Here's the link. And personally I think the seller should be banned from any 501st type activity, not the kind of publicity we need. People like that are careless and risk everything we've work so hard to accomplish.

I did, FOR MONTHS, till my fingers/eyes/ears bled. Got tired of all the false promises and excuses. It really just wore me out and disgusted me. I have MUCH better things to do with my life.
