This was one of the best ever people
. Once again the support of all my friends overwhelms me
. We raised $254 for Shriners Childrens Hospital, (making a total of EXACTLY $1,000 to hand over to the Shriners on June 23rd
), and over 2 barrels of food for the food bank
.
I was wonderful seeing my friends again, and meeting some new ones. AND some of the cool new costumes debiting at this event again. Paul couldn't make it, but donated some money to the raffle and won a prize for a needy(?) kid as per his request. Rick, (future Jedi), won the $230 Sideshow Rancor with a high bid of $100. I was nice being able to just sit and visit for awhile afterwards, I rarely get to do that. THANK YOU one and all, now start thinking about new costumes next year

It was also nice to meet a couple of girls who are organizing the Homer Davenport Parade, they brought 4 bags of groceries and told us that they will donate $500 to the charity of the winner of the "battle" between the 501st and Rebel Legion on that day
