The tickets only say "no flash photography" and there are lots of pictures out there.  :|

Just talked with the Rose Quarter. The tickets say no flash or professional cameras, the lady I talked to at the Rose Quarter said the policy for the event has changed to comply with Rose Quarter policy of no cameras (503-797-9619 Rose Quarter Box Office).

I would definitely throw a camera in your bin if you are trooping this event.  Who knows who you might meet or see.  Security won't be tight like it would be at a heavy metal concert anyways.  It would suck to run into Mr Daniels or somebody else and not have a better than a cell phone camera.  Just my thought.

Yes, one of the reasons (aside from my duties as a spotter) is to get some good pictures of the uniforms and any ship models that I can.

I just talked to the Rose Quarter Main Office (503.235.8771). The lady I talked to said that there has been some confussion over whether cameras will be allowed. I told her that there is static displays and The 501st was going to be there and people are going to want to take pictures. She said they are going to be having a security meeting at 4pm and the definate answer will be decided then.

I'd be appalled if they didn't allow cameras at this event. I'd bring a camera just in case, though.

The email I got from Amy said the event rider said no cameras inside the building, but yet the website made it out that photos were acceptable.

Like Scott mention, they are having a meeting to discuss the situation later today.

I, more or less, echoed Trumby's remarks about what was the point in us being there if cameras weren't allowed - relax, I spun it more diplomatically than that, of course.

This is from the Rose Quarter at 2:10pm

Star Wars Management was the group that set the camera policy (the Rose Quarter doesn?t set the camera policies for shows), but as of about 15 minutes ago they are now saying that cameras are allowed on the concourse but no pictures from the seating areas.

Yea We can take pictures of the props and costumes
