It doesn't take that long, actually. The applicant sends in their information and a queue is generated for the GML to go take a look at the system, to see that there is a pending member.

Once the applicant is in the queue, and the GML has the pics to look over, the applicant can be approved right away. I was approved within 2 days.

The best advice is for applicant and GML to be in constant communication. That will decrease the time waiting for approval, drastically.

I have all my photos ready. Is the GML up to date on the CCG home page? I think you said it was Nick, but the home page says it's Dave Hamm.

That is pretty cool, man. I picked a wide variation of numbers. I was fortunate that I got my first pick, which was 7279 - the years that my older brother was born and passed away. It was the ultimate tribute to him, considering that it is because of him that I am the ultimate Star Wars geek!
