I'm still debating as to whether I want to or not.

On one hand it would be cool to see if any other OFF members show up, on the other hand Daria and Dallas will be there. Not to mention seeing Martin in that sweet new MC armor...

ahhh..... decisions, decisions!

For those not costuming, or have soft costumes, I would seriously suggest just parking at Lloyd Center and riding the Max down to the Rose Quarter. It is all fareless square, and parking is free, too.

Just something to consider...

I think I will armor up at Lloyd Center and ride the Max in armor to the Rose Quarter or wherever this is happening.  I should look at the map.

Here is a Tri-Met map link:

http://ride.trimet.org/?tool=search&zoom=4&from=DOUBLETREE+-+LLOYD+CENTER&to=ROSE+GARDEN+ARENA&after=10:02%20am&on=11/07/08&min=T&walk=0.50&id=31743&lat=687240&lon=7649779.4&pLat=687240&pLon=7649779.4&pText=Doubletree+-+Lloyd+Center

It is roughly a 5-7 minute trip from the Lloyd Center to the Rose Quarter Commons.

Where you see the little bus icons in the lower left of this pic is Max stop you will want. From there you would walk Westbound to the Annex lot to meet up with everyone there. The Comic book show is actually held in the Memorial Coliseum. There is a way to get to the entrance without having to walk all the way around to the box office of the Memorial Coliseum, down the stairs (or elevator) to the actual convention area. From the Annex lot there is a an access way that leads right to some entry doors on that lower lever to get to where the show is.

Wow. That was a very cool Comic Book Show. Saw lots of cool stuff. Great costumes.
Had several conversations with potential new members 501st/RL. Met 2 Mandolorian Mercs, very cool.
Bought several Star Wars Ewoks Comics, only need 2 more to complete my collection.
Spent several hours with good friends.
Priceless :D 8)

Seeing the Master Chief and Predator up close, and in person, was pretty sweet. This was a pretty cool event. For the first time I can see clearly all the things at the various tables.

We did get to see Daria and Dallas. Chatted with them for a few minutes. Shook hands with Dallas and Daria gave me a hug. We also chatted with quite a few other costuming folks. As Eric mentioned, a couple of custom mandos, a Jedi, a couple dressed in Battlestar Galactica fatigues.

I even picked up Labyrinth of Evil for $3! So, this was a pretty decent show for me.

Hi Tavrikgannon,

We talked for a few minutes this afternoon and we kind of talked about finding a way that I could make my first Imperial uniform. You suggested making an Imperial officer uniform and you were going to send me a couple links. Anyway thanks for the help. It was nice chatting for a few minutes. I'm sorry I had to run off so soon, but I had to go find my friends in that big place. Thanks.

I chatted with Clyde a little bit, in front of your booth there. I told him about OryCon. He said he might come crash it... or was that to pay me a visit?
