Hello and some Q's
« on: October 07, 2008, 03:40:34 PM »
Hello I'm interested in joining the 501st. Been a long time Star Wars Fan.

I would like to know about getting some armor too.
I would be interested in being a Stormie either Shadow or White.

I'd love to to an ARC Costume.

Thanks!

As far as TK's go, I'm sure our GML will be contacting you shortly with all shorts of wonderful information.

Welcome, friend!  I am close to being a Lord Vader here and can guarantee that the garrison are full of wonderful people.  Heck, I've been with them for a little under a year and will gladly call some of them family; brothers, sisters, even that cousin kept locked under the stairs who is regularly fed but never talked about!

Welcome to the boards, DC. We always welcome new members and hope to see some progress on your quest for an ARC rig. If you have not already visited them, I suggest signing up over on the Clonetrooper Detachment boards. There you will find a plethora of information regarding the different types of clone armor used in the movies and comics.

Me... Sloth.... you.... Volund.

Rocky... Road!

Ok, smart (_|_) turned off.

Welcome to Cloud City Garrison, Empfang, Stadtgarnison zu umw?lken, Bienvenido a Anubla la Ciudad Guarnici?n, L'accueil pour Brouiller la Garnison de Ville, Добро пожаловать в Городской Гарнизон Облака, (insert other languages here), DC.

I am Bill, the Garrison Membership Officer (GML).
Any questions you have about membership, just shoot me a PM, or an email (tavrikgannon@gmail.com).

Make sure you check around the boards, read the FAQs. If you are wanting to go clone, then I would follow Kyle's advise and check out the Clone boards. If you are wanting to get your foot in the door with a TK, the price for armor will be about $635.

Contact me, via PM or email and I will hook you up with more information.

Now I know why your email was bounced back to you, DC. I have fixed the email link. It should work now, should you need to email me.

Thanks All! I will do some digging and make up the old mind. I think I'm going to lean towards the TK just for price.

If price is an issue, you should consider a Rancor Keeper costume :)

Well, I do keep trying to talk Tim into it, but he said he would only do it if I were to dress up as the Rancor he was keeping.

I swear, the boy has no imagination....

Ha ha... I might need to drink more beer then. So I can get a bigger gut like Rancor Keepers have.

I have been doing some digging on the net... I think a White Stormie would be the best way to start. Later down the road I could upgrade to Sandtrooper... Right? Looking online the Arc looks to be a tough one to pull off well.

You could always do the clone triple threat combo meal:

Episode III (both helmet and armor easy to get)
Paint it white:
A-La-Grumpydevil...

When you get a few extra funds you upgrade to Episode III Commander Bacara (A NEw Helm and a few parts of bling bling)
A-La-Grumpydevil...

Then when they become available pick up an Episode II Lid and your meal is now complete....
A-La- um not grumpydevil..

One armor three helmets, and for bacara some extra bling,
and you're set!!!!
