How did that happen?

TKD Injury, she was trying to break 3 boards and caught the corner of the boards with her arm :(

the way she describes it she was trying to be "one of the guys" and instead of just 2 boards she went for 3 and just totally biffed the strike

Exactly

It was a board breaking competition, and her opponent was doing two boards, so she was attempting  3 for the win

There were some good things that happened
We had a student jump front kick a board 8'7" off the ground
Someone broke 16 boards in 6.93 seconds
We had someone break 5 boards with an elbow strike
We had a few people attempt techniques with 6 boards, one of which achieved a partial break

Oof, well on the bright side she can probably break 10 boards once that heals, reinforced! ;)
Heal soon Danielle!
