Side Arm idea
« on: May 31, 2007, 06:47:32 PM »
Ok everyone knows that stormtroopers carried E-11 blasters, but apparently that wasn't the only sidearm stormtroopers were allowed to carry,I went looking online for fun and happen to come across this weapon

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/SE-14R_light_repeating_blaster

If you look in the visual dictonary guide for the Star Wars series you will find a storm trooper holding this exact pistol.Since it's documented that would make it canon would it not?
What's nice is that it looks ambidextrous and could fit a holster on either side of the user.Good news is that it could be used for either Stormtroopers(Including several specialist branches of the Imperial Forces including AT-AT and possibly TIE fighter pilots)Imperial officers that want something light and small to carry, and easy to build

Of course just an idea and I wanted to let everyone know about it :D

That gun was used in some promo material, but never in the movies.  Check out www.whitearmor.net there is a guy making and selling them.  Its a nice piece and I want to get one someday.  Maybe after I finish forking out all the cash for my clone armor.
