Hello all, I’m back in SE PDX after living in AK for the last 6 and serving with the Alaska Garrison! Looking forward to trooping here again! Also if anyone has any suggestions my TB cod piece, attached to the cummerbund, got stained (looks like I wet myself????) by something dark in the move and I’m wondering what the best way to clean it would be. I’ve historically just run it through the wash but am curious about bleaching it. It’s made from the duck cloth canvas so not sure what the bleach would do to it or if it’ll just make it brilliantly white again. Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions?

Welcome back! I’d try a little bit of dawn dish detergent and water first and give it a scrub and see if that gets it out. Dawn can work a lot of magic on stains. Just air dry it though, don’t put it in the tumble dryer or the stain could set permanently.
