CAUSE:
Shop with a Cop - providing underprivileged children gifts for Christmas
December 7th, 2024. This heartwarming event pairs law enforcement officers with children in need from our local schools to provide them with a holiday shopping experience they will never forget.
Shop with a Cop is a wonderful opportunity to:
•   Support children in need: Each child receives a generous donation to purchase holiday gifts for themselves and their loved ones.
•   Build positive relationships: The event fosters positive relationships between law enforcement officers and the youth in our community.
•   Offer assistance and resources: We connect families with valuable resources and support services available within our communities during the holiday season and beyond.
We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of these children and their families.


PARKING: large parking
CHANGING AND STORAGE: Fred Myer Store office space & bathrooms
COSTUME REQUESTS: Bring it all!
PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITTED: Yes - only for parents/children who have agreed & signed waiver to allow photos
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS:
Money is donated to families/children in need to shop with a cop to purchases gifts for the holiday season.

I know I've said this in years past but this is an event that's means a lot to me.

Our troopers have a very loyal fan base among the area law enforcement due to us showing up over the years and making this a truly special event. Every year I get several officers asking me, "Are you guys coming back?!" I know it will be an early morning and lots of standing but these kids, families, and cops love having Star Wars characters there.

Hope you all can make some time to show up for a bit

This would be a great first time troop! We get to meet a ton of excited kids (and a ton of excited officers too). We've been involved with this troop for years, it's one of my very favorite events! It's a great way to support an important community event for less-priviledged children and bring a smile to so many faces. We would love if you decided to join us this year!
