WHERE: Findley Elementary School - 4155 NW Saltzman Rd Portland, OR

TIME: Event:5pm-8pm/In Costume: anytime during the event
CAUSE: Findley Elementary
PARKING: Parking lot of the school
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We can provide several private changing/locked rooms, we’ll have food trucks, and bathrooms onsite.
COSTUME REQUESTS: Everyone is welcome.
BLASTER POLICY: All are allowed.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS: A yearly neighborhood event, the Carnival at Findley is going with a Star Wars theme this year! Our event directly support the school PTO and typically raises around $20k.

They were smart enough to pick a different date than the 4th for their Star Wars event. Let's see if can impressive them.
 
If I can get access to my household's SUV that day, I will be a TK and I'll be little late.
If I have to take my car I'll be something else but on time.

I will be going as a TK but will arriving late after 5pm and will be ready in costume by 530.

I've been eyeing this event for a while now. The main reason I hesitated was because I probably will get stuck in traffic on the way up there. But, I'm off that day, so you can count me in as my Mirialan Jedi.

So, I checked on the school website, and it says that the event starts at 6. But, maybe they wanted us to get there at 5?

If it's a 6 pm start, that helps me get there a bit easier with traffic.

Their facebook page has it at 5-8, but I am sure that 6-8 would be just fine.

I messaged the host and he said it officially opens at 5pm,  but if 6pm works better that's ok too.

Okay, I'm not here. My ride accidentally left their wallet at work. After driving them back for it. Headed right over.

I thought there was going to be parking. Sorry but I'm not going to park along the red fire curb like an idiot. Checked both lots. Saw a free space but the car next to parked like a-hole with their wheels over the line. Not going to drive around the block and drag a giant tote a quarter mile. Had a chance to make other plans but I picked this.

How hard is it for people to provide parking? Use a few traffic cones to set some aside.
