CAUSE:
Friends of the Cottage Grove Carousel
We're a 501(c)(3) non-profit partnered with the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce tourism committee and have restored and housed this historic carousel.  We are staffed by volunteers and rely upon donations.  We offer free rides during our open house to benefit the citizens of Cottage Grove


PARKING:
Free parking in the lot.  Enter the center gate and follow the long fence.  Parking with staff is on the left.
CHANGING AND STORAGE: We have two offices to accomodate your volunteers.
COSTUME REQUESTS: We welcome any of your characters who can make it.
BLASTER POLICY: Blaster and lightsabers are fine.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: Yes, children in costume are welcome to attend
OTHER DETAILS:
We are hosting this open house, a celebration event as this will be our final open house before we store the carousel and locate a new venue to permanently house the carousel.
ANYTHING ELSE:
I neglected to mention in my request for February 17th that we are housed inside warehouse space owned by King Estate Winery.  We are NOT part of the winery and have our own entrance.  No alcohol or smoking is allowed.  We are a completely separate venue and King Estate has generously gifted this building space for us.  It is clearly separate from the winery.

I'm in! I'm glad they're flexible on time, but I'd prefer to show up at the same time as others.
If there's enough interest, I'd like to try to do both carousel days, and I'll do Imp Officer one day and Resistance Pilot the other.

The event hosts are hoping for a big turnout for this event. It will be the last Carousel Open House for the foreseeable future. They are losing their space and have not yet secured new space.

Between that, and their plans to advertise our presence, they're hoping to see a large crowd (if that encourages anyone currently on the fence).

it sounds like everyones on board for a 1-3 time frame Im going to post that as the time as they are flexable and they wanted us to come up with a time that works best for all this way we get a better volunteer turn out

Company would be great. I was aiming for about 11am. By the way, I’m probably going to change back to Kylo since Nihilus scares the kids unless he is in a group.

Going to try my best to get there by 1.  With my work schedule getting home at 2 am sometimes makes it hard for me to get some sleep.  I try and get the night off before work if its going to be an early troop for Saturday.
