WHAT: KOIN 6 Interview for May the 4th
WHERE: 222 SW Columbia St, Portland, OR 97201
DATE: Monday, April 24th
TIME: 10 am interview segment so we will need to get there early enough to be let into the building and changed into our costumes.
CAUSE: Raising awareness of the 501st and Rebel Legion and our May the 4th plans.
PARKING: Address: 222 SW Columbia St. Suite #102, Portland, OR 97201
Parking Instructions:
Turn on to Clay from Naito
Drive past Marriot
Cross the intersection of 1st and Clay
The KOIN Tower Parking will be immediately to the right w/ a bright yellow sign above it
If you see/pass Morton’s Steakhouse you have gone too far
If that happens: Take a right on 4th, a right on Columbia, and right on 1st, and a right back on to Clay
Follow the ramp that will immediately be on the left (do NOT go straight if the gate is up and another car is coming out- that is the residential parking)
Pass the loading dock which will be on your left
Turn left to the parking garage gate
Take a ticket and the front desk will validate it for your visit
Station instructions from the parking garage:
Follow the arrow that will lead you to the KOIN Tower Elevators
Press “L” for the Lobby
Exit the elevator and walk straight to the Lobby
Turn left and the KOIN TV office doors will be on the left directly across of the KOIN Tower Security Desk
Go through the first set of doors and you will see the KOIN TV Front Desk
Parking on Columbia for Drop-Offs:
Park on either side of Columbia since it is a “one way” street
The KOIN Tower entrance will be on your right
Enter the lobby area
Walk straight past the security desk that will be on your right
Walk through the two glass doors to the room with 2 televisions in it
You will see the KOIN TV Front Desk
CHANGING AND STORAGE: Changing area available outside the studio.
COSTUME REQUESTS: All are welcome. They'd like some costumers to be eye candy behind the interview.
BLASTER POLICY: Blasters are fine but we will double check before the recording.
MEMBERS' CHILDREN IN COSTUME: No, just adults please.
