Apologies for the short delay in getting back to you.
It appears to me that the CRL model has the armor relatively flat in appearance. Having a very slight curve in the overall shape you could probably do, but you would definitely want to avoid something that looks like Bo Katan's armor, for example.
For the armor you've posted a picture of, I'd suggest trying to even out the curve a bit more. Best of luck and keep us posted!
