Hello there from Central Oregon
« on: May 31, 2022, 05:00:20 PM »
Have wanted to get into the 501st for some time now, my wife and I went to our first Celebration and let's just say have became more inspired than ever. Any advice on where and how to begin? I have recently gotten into 3d printing and have been working on some personal Mando armor parts. I am wanting to do a clone and/or stormtrooper kit. Any advice is great! Is there anyone in the Central Oregon area that is willing to be in contact and lend some personal advice on how to get in? Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the forums!

There was definitely a lot of inspiration to be had at Celebration, what a great weekend :)

I would say this is a great place to start, we have lots of Stormtroopers and many clones.  Are you planning on 3d printing all of your parts?  We have many 3d printers in the group, so probably lots of help there too.

Hello and welcome to CCG! one thing i would recommend if you are looking at Clones or Stormtrooper costumes is signing up on the FISD forum for stormtroopers- https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/
And the Clone Trooper detachment forum-  https://501stclonetroopers.com/forum/

Those are a really great resource to get you started as well as our many of our members here.
