Oh, so hey, how will I know if/when it's okay to have multiple cosplayers of the same specific or semi-specific character (that is, for example, when it's okay to have multiple Cloud City Leias or both an ANH Leia and a Cloud City Leia, vs only one Leia of any kind) coming to the same event? Will that be obvious from the event description? Is there a key phrase to look for? Is a "formal" event one where only one cosplayer for a character is allowed? (My impression is that a "formal" event is one where approved costumes are worn without other modifications, such as making it Christmas-y, for example, but...?)

My son qualified for the World Championships in Taekwondo that is being held in Phoenix on this weekend. I’ll have to drop out.

You will be changing in costume after you arrive in changing room at ball park.   Group pictures around 5:30 pm.    Gates open for public at 6:00 pm when we will greet them.    I will explain everything when we  all arrive at event.
